Charlotte really started it all of for us. We always had a love affair with painting sweets...cakes & cupcakes. But then we turned our painterly gaze toward our collectibles. Our porcelain dolls are our absolute favorite collection and this one especially, simply named Charlotte, is closest to our hearts.
Her gaze is so serene...she exudes sweetness, innocence, and that inner little girl we all possess. Painting her portrait was just the beginning of an all new collection for us. And we absolutely love her background. We designed and meticulously painted each and every pattern you see behind her....giving them that "torn & collaged" appearance...even adding a sepia wash for an aged look.
Charlotte is really a special painting for us and we hope you take her home and find a place of importance for her in your home.
