These unique leaf earrings make a statement and show you care about the environment at the same time!
Earrings are constructed with recycled fabric (mostly cotton and cotton / polyester blends), and are quilted with contrast machine stitching, and a layer of natural cotton quilt batting - they are light weight and easy to wear. Edges are left raw for a rustic look, and will fray slightly over time (you can trim the threads if you'd like to prevent this).
Earring hooks are surgical steel, which is great even for those of us with sensitive ears! Comes displayed on a recycled kraft paper card, and includes plastic earring backs.
This listing is for a pair of forest (dark) green earrings with contrast thread quilting in off-white stitching (photo #1) or gold / yellow-green stitching (photo #2 & 3). Also available in chartruese (light) and moss (medium) green (see photo #3), as well as custom colours.
Available in 2 sizes:

Please note, all of my designs are machine stitched free hand (not with computerized designs), and thus stitched motifs and appliques will vary slightly from piece to piece - the charm of buying handmade!
This item is handmade with love from recycled fabrics such as table cloths, curtains, bed sheets and other recycled materials. All recycled fabrics are pre-washed and this item is made by hand in my smoke and pet free home. This design will hold up to regular wear and machine washing; for best results, wash by hand or on the delicate cycle, and iron on medium heat.
Items will be shipped by Canada Post regular surface or air mail within 2 - 3 days of purchase.
Made-to-order or custom orders may take up to two weeks before they are ready to ship. I will do my best to process orders in a timely manner and provide an estimate of time required to process your order. If you need your item by a certain date, please send me a message and I will do my very best to accommodate.
Shipping times (in addition to processing times) are approximately as follows:
Within Canada: 2 - 9 business days
To USA: 4 - 15 business days
Internationally: 1 - 8 weeks

Tracking info is not included on most orders, but is available on larger orders (ie. stuffed meditation cushions, multiple t-shirts), and some Canadian orders. Please contact me in advance of purchase if you require a tracking number.
GST / HST is applicable to Canadian customers. 13% HST (Ontario rate) is currently included in the shipping cost on Canadian orders. I will refund any overages (for other provinces) through paypal, or can send you an invoice in advance if you contact me with your order request. Local customers can save on shipping, if you are able to pick up in the Toronto area - contact me for details
US and International buyers are responsible for any customs, duties or brokerage fees that may be incurred upon arrival.
I use mostly recycled, eco-friendly materials for my packaging. If you would prefer new packaging or gift wrapping, please let me know.
Payment and Refund Policy
At the moment, I only accept payment through PayPal, but I am happy to accept cash, cheque or internet transfer from local buyers - please contact me directly for details. All items are listed in US funds, and are applicable to HST for Canadian buyers.
All items are handmade and one of a kind. Colours and design features may vary slightly from photos, particularly for made-to-order items.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, I would be happy to exchange for another item of equal value, within 3 weeks of receiving, provided the buyer pays for return shipping. Contact me in advance to discuss.
If your purchased item becomes damaged due to problems with product construction, I would be happy to negotiate a refund or exchange, within a reasonable time frame.
