Some movies I can watch over and over again, The Royal Tenenbaums being solidly on that list. All of Wes Anderson's movies have a certain quirkiness that I adore and are stylized so beautifully. And then there are his characters!

In the spring of 2010 I had a solo show featuring a series of paintings inspired by the stories and characters I love - ranging from childhood right up until the present. Richie and Margot immediately jumped out at me as perfect subjects - their iconic looks, the forbidden love story...such wonderful inspiration. I hope you'll enjoy my take on her.
