"A Quiet Forest" is one of 4 paintings I created as part of a group show I participated in at the Raw Canvas gallery in Vancouver, BC. The theme for the show was "Concepts of Home" and it immediately struck me that where I feel most at home is when I'm out in nature, surrounded by the soft sounds of the leaves fluttering in the wind and the pine needles crunching under my feet.
This sweet girl at home in the belly of an acorn was the first painting of the show to be sold and I'm happy to offer her as a print. She's painted on a beechwood block, so the background texture of the wood grain shows up beautifully.
The print size is 8" X 8" (20cm X 20cm) on archival matte paper with a lovely weight. With incredibly vibrant colors and sharp detail of the wood grain, your print will look almost like the original when hung under glass.
