The inspiration for this piece was of course...old fashioned bakery menu boards. Back when signage was hand painted & hand lettered with care and precision.
And we just love to tie in black...it's such a great contrast to the pastel sweets and it resembles a chalkboard.
This is a large piece (2' x 2') and it is totally a room maker! It features six of our original cake paintings, a hand cut border of vintage recipe clippings, and all of the lettering is hand painted.
