This fascinating necklace has two delicate pieces from the same White Birch tree that hang and move together to create a captivating piece of jewelry.

The cross section of the Branch has already split from drying and before it was sealed it was only the strength of the bark that kept it from breaking. In fact two of the three splits go all the way through, just adding another level of uniqueness to this already one of a kind piece.

The cross section measures 2.5cm across, while the rectangle is 3cm tall by 2cm across. They have been secured with strong jumprings and are attached to 26 inches of 2.7mm Sterling Silver Diamond cut Curb chain. At 26 inches long the necklace has no clasp and slips easily over your head.

The tree these pieces were cut from was rescued from a wind-fallen tree and would have otherwise been burned.
